Green Ted and Henry VI label.

This was the only item photographed in the museum section. Quote from the label,

Statue of Henry VI
This is one of the statues from the Coventry cross that was finished in 1544. The cross replaced an earlier one that was nerely 14 metres tall.

Figure (Walnut), Barbara Hepworth

This was directly under the gaze of the gallery guard and so GT was not deployed. The gallery web site describes this as one of its "star pieces". Online information is sparse and so the label is quoted,

This work is subtitled Walnut because the bronze was cast from a carving made in walnut wood. The two colours were made by chemically treating the surface.
Barbara Hepworth drew inspiration from Mexican, African and Japanese art. She was also inspired by sea-worn objects like pebbles on a beach. The holes are an integral part of the sculpture and show that the interior space is as important as the solid part.

Paintings

Cat. 3,120-23.

That's about as good as it gets with Nicholson. There's another encounter in Wakefield. The Sutherland is a preparatory drawing for the tapestry in the Cathedral. In retrospect, we should have paid to get into the Cathedral for a look: our immediate reaction when faced with a charge is to walk away.
There were several other paintings that could have been snapped, including a sub-optimal Lowry, but it is difficut to get GT in shot.

1. 1946-47 (two forms), Ben Nicholson, 1946-47
2. Christ in Glory: First Cartoon, Graham Sutherland, 1953
